Physical and chemical properties: Mostly white powder, granules, or columnar form, odorless or with a slight benzoin aroma, slightly sweet taste, and astringent. Stable in air, not easily decomposed at room temperature, easily soluble in water, with a pH value of its aqueous solution about 8-9, soluble in ethanol.

Uses:

1. This product is an excellent food preservative and can be used in various foods such as soy sauce, pickles, jam, fermented bean curd, fruit syrup, soda, and various canned foods, with excellent results.

2. Can be used in the pharmaceutical industry for the preservation and sterilization of various drugs.

3. Can be used as a preservative and antibacterial agent in the production of feed for livestock, poultry, and aquatic products.

4. Can be used in the daily chemical industry for the preservation of products such as toothpaste, ink paste, paste, and adhesives.

5. Can be used in automotive antifreeze, steel rust prevention, and organic synthetic materials.

Storage method:

1. Storage environment: Sodium benzoate should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from fire and heat sources.
